Send get well soon flowers When someone gets ill and you would like to cheer them up with flowers then best to have them sent straight to their home or work address. It is also probably a good idea to include a vase with the flowers. If someone isn’t feeling well, even the simplest tasks can feel like a huge effort, so sending a vase with get well flowers can be a nice, considerate touch. Choosing what flowers to send to wish someone to get well soon isn’t too tricky. It’s best to go for something bright and cheerful, rather than plain flowers. If you know what flowers they like most, though, even better. Often people want to send flowers to wish someone a speedy recovery in hospitals and this can be a bit tricky. Not all hospital wards accept flowers – and some hospitals don’t accept get well soon flowers at all. Our customer service department strongly advise that you check with a hospital before placing an order. There is a check box in the checkout to tick if the order is for a hospital so that the delivery people are aware that it’s going to a hospital and will be able to be very specific if the hospital has refused delivery. It is relatively easy to check with hospitals if they will accept get well soon flowers, either by ringing up or checking on their website. Many hospitals will clearly put their flower policies up and which wards do and do not accept flowers. It is best if you know what ward the patient is on. Many hospitals stock their own vases for get well soon flowers, so it may be advisable not to include a glass vase with the order (sometimes glass vases aren’t accepted, even though the flowers are). The best way is to double check with the hospital first or contact our friendly customer services team who’ll be able to advise you.
